Project Description
This couple lived in Paris and bought an apartment on the 4th floor in a block just off the Kings Road to use when they visit their children and grand children. We replaced the kitchen which had to be fitted into a sort of triangular room – it was awkward. All the pipes in the bathroom had to be replaced as they were lead. A lot of them had corroded inside the concrete under the floor which gave us a challenge; this is surprisingly common. They wanted some cupboards and shelving built and some of the walls were wallpapered. We even built them a little secret compartment inside one of the cupboards to hide their valuables.
